I look for interest in the images that record the past, appropriating them for a new context.
This is the sense that I draw from the temporal registers of strangers who have passed and who have distanced themselves from it by some drastic event. I paint the stain and the shadows, for surely we see shadows and spots in our day to day and we only see the details when we identify with a certain silhouette and thus we define the traits, the characteristics, and we go beyond the vague and faint representation, for the greater detail of life, searching for the soul and the sense of being.
