“1,390 Ways of Torture” is part of the exhibition "Hanging by a Thread”. It is a presentation of different emotional situations arise during particular scenarios interspersed by inner silence. An interplay between questions and thoughts leading to emotional disorder coming from inner peace and conflictive personal search. The work leaves the viewer with a familiar feeling that we have reached a limit: hanging by a thread. The transformation from tension to fulfilment over accumulated energy causes an emotional whirlwind of hesitations, doubts, anxieties, insecurities, indecision, an endless cycle of trial and error, with the ultimate goal: the possibility of relief.
