The body appears as a privileged object of representation: it is often masked, and there are no faces, with no identity of its own. The painted figures are charged with eroticism: by etymology, the obscene displays everything when eroticism, fragments, moves, suggests.
The bodies, thus shown, simultaneously include two components: fear and being, which can cause a state of vacillation between two opposing feelings. The combinations are established to place the figures in one of two: between the scene and the obscene.
