Da Marca, Corpo #5 presents us with spaces of contemplation and pleasure, in rhythmic surfaces of lines and textures where a greater sensorial component is promoted, eminently tactile, resulting from the painting integrated with the textile construction.
The work is essentially constructed in linen, where it is manipulated, and sewn by machine, creating different textures, as is the case of the 1 cm zig-zag folds and simple folds.
The neutral and monochromatic acrylic paint, with soft tonal transitions, where predominates are the different consistencies of paint and the stains resulting from the gestuality and expressiveness of the action. Broad and loose brushstrokes, apparently undefined and liberated, however, are the result of a gestuality thought out and conditioned by the relationship with the support.
In this process, there is also the involvement and action of the body in the act of painting. A spatial relationship that the artist's body establishes with the work.
The artwork dimensions/weight exceed the limits defined by our carriers.
