In the series of works "Heavy Drawings", the drawing and the collage appear as a way of thinking about the space, the landscape, the architecture and the house transmitting this reflection for the act of scratching and overlapping layers of colour papers, wood remains, netting or other materials that give three-dimensionality and density to the design itself. Deep down, these drawings are also paintings, due to the importance of colour and texture and the way I overlay layers of coloured papers. They are papers that offer us, equally, different layers of meaning: I collect clippings with different backgrounds and contexts, some old and loaded with brands, others new and clean while playing with their stories and their chromatic relationships and tensions.
