"Simien Simien Man" is one of the watercolour works in a series inspired by the avant-garde Japanese dance "Butoh".
The composition evidences the "Man" in its most primitive facet summarizing it to its animal condition and in this particular case resembling it to the close relative of the Australopithecus.
In converting the condition of Modern Man into Man Simien Simien, it is assumed the retrograde in the evolutionary context of contemporary society.
It is in this way intended to cause inner restlessness, forcing the reflection on the human essence inserted in the planetary context.
