In ancient times, memory was considered an art. It was used as a tool that gave man the possibility of accessing the original time and the secret of origins, as an instrument that allowed to reach the power connected to the avatars of the successive incarnations of individuals, as the case of Platonism, as a mechanism to remember a knowledge that was already in the soul. Aristotle, in turn, referred to those who cultivated memory as a technique to be used in the field of rhetoric, as artists of memory who controlled their imagination through the will and produced images to justify their reflections.
