Juan Domingues artwork, which has in fact deserved reference at an international level, is based on the face as an expression of human sense. The face (or body) is the pictorial object and the plastic construction combines the perspectives of the character/object, with the spectator and the painter himself. The lightness of the hires role with the scale that maximizes the expression and the drama that the author still accentuates with the red-meat spots, in an allusion to the body in war and the context of aesthetic changes of years of 1960/70 that influence him.
