The name refers to a time that is enlightened, a time which among other times remains in memory as bright and transparent.
This drawing fuses an image of a landscape with an image of the other world. It merges different time and space, the attainable and the unreachable, the material and the spiritual.
This drawing is very big and it took 5 months to create it. I often think that the net, which the lines of the drawing produce, is a good metaphor for the substance that forms all that exists.
Personally, this is one of the most important works of art I have done. My hope is that François Cheng´s description could be applied to this work: "strange alchemy, blending density of detail with the most ethereal lightness"
The size of the frame is 120 x 251 cm, the size of the drawing is 78 x 225 cm. The frame is white wood and plexiglass protects the drawing.
