This painting was made through the reference of a transparent glass snuff bottle, decorated with red glass with Chinese symbology. It belongs to a series of works centred around the theme of the drawing of observation of cultural goods. However, the aim of these paintings is not a reliable representation, but rather an artistic interpretation suggested by the object. The technique used was acrylic and gouache on paper.
