Everyone needs attention. Specifically, we need a type of attention that psychologists call belonging. When we feel like we don’t belong, we desperately search for validation. "Lack of Attention" is a photo series that makes fun of attention-seeking behaviours exasperated by social media. Daily life scenarios become absurd. Through the representation of visual oxymorons, the photo series takes this behaviour to the extreme and underlines its irony.
