Prémio ARTE EM ESPAÇO PÚBLICO & SUSTENTABILIDADE - 2ª edição

The ART IN PUBLIC SPACE & SUSTAINABILITY Award is an initiative of the dst group and zet gallery, with the support of IB-S (University of Minho). It aims to affirm a strategic thought about the circular economy, from the contemporary artistic creation, as pivotal within the framework of values of the dst group and zet gallery. Its object is the production of an artwork for the public space of the city of Braga that integrates, fundamentally, industrial waste and/or waste that comes from the construction and demolition of buildings. The second edition of the award took place in 2022, and its winner was the collective Trashformaciones with the work “Vitrais”, which was given to the Municipality of Braga for public enjoyment in Parque das Camélias.
