This artwork was created using oil on canvas (linen). A layer if varnish protects the painting against UV light and dust. The artwork is signed on the right side and back.

In this ‘hybrid’ abstractionism I combine organic and geometrical elements. The composition relies on planes or layers that converge into a central vanishing point and go beyond the borders of the canvas. This aspect suggests a feeling of uninterrupted expansion.
Formally, this work’s structure and balance stand ironically in opposition to the motion and transformation I wish to convey.
Chromatic harmony arises from a first plane of contrasting tones that gradually soften into secondary planes. That graduation underlined by the painting’s perspective generates a feeling of endless depth.
In my imagination, the overlapping and intersection of compositional elements symbolizes the interdependence and interaction of living beings equipped with energy and emotions.
