From a series of digital collages, which deals with my ancestors. After the Second World War, they were expelled from the Sudeten-German areas in the Czech Republic. I always overlayed a picture from the former "Sudetenland" with one of my travels and got responses to questions about cultural identity. I developed this series in the spirit of the Surrealists - automated recourse to the unconscious and semi-conscious.
