By proceeding by layers, I cover or reveal parts of the logic of each of them. What I'm seeking is to divert the spirit to leave the field free for pure perception. On the contrary, the transparencies make all these layers play with each other and bring out evidence that directly addresses our authentic being.
Shadows, softness and verticality, in the margin or inside, I send back all these layers on a flat area of red colour and I conclude with a vertical gesture that emerges from the background by its materiality. I'm blurring the gaze by the emergence of successive planes.
