The work makes use of the comparison of two aspects of the same reality:
The pictorial aspect that represents the apparent exterior is realized by the technique of "pictorial frottage".
This technique, which originates from the experimentation of the author himself, consists of a complex and innovative elaboration, a kind of imprint of the underlying relief performed with the overlapping of color splashes.
The acrylic color, painted in this way on the fabric, is made up of a kind of leather that is superimposed on the plastic reality of a poor material, such as the coated polyurethane, which has a symbolic value alluding to the psychic interiority.
