This work is part of the series "Portraying the water." This pictorial series makes a journey that brings the viewer into the process of abstraction of the paintings. One observes portraits of people underwater that are increasingly distorted by the ripples, reflections and refractions. Apparently, this artists aims to gradually reach a series of completely abstract paintings in which the water, and distortions become the only protagonists.
