Arménio was born on May 1st, 1957, in Belmonte. Teacher. With a degree in Art History by the Faculty of Letters of the University in Coimbra; having attended the course of Artistic Studies. Lives in Figueira da Foz, where has his studio. Painting is a way of constant experimentalism, intrinsic to his being and his essence. It was a passion that he always cultivated, complemented with incursions in the areas of design, interior decoration, restoration, and scenarios for events. He has illustrations in publications, illustrations of three children's books, and four commemorative medals for the Escape Livre club and the Gaiatos da Guarda School. In Paris, where he retreats for four years, he mingled with foreign artists pf various movements. He showcased his first solo exhibition in 1985, in Gouveia. Regularly showcases since that year in solo and collective exhibitions in Portugal and abroad, highlighting in his path Paris and other cities.
