Antonio Fercundini is, since 2011, one of José António Lacerda's heteronyms, an Italian-Brazilian artist born in 1972 in Jundiaí, Brazil.
Graduated in Fine Arts by the Santa Catarina State University (UDESC) in 2001, he studied engineering, law and architecture. Subsequently attended a post-graduation in Visual Poetics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFGRS) and Graphic Design at the University of Porto (UP).
Lives and works between São Paulo, Porto and Vila Nova de Cerveira, and is currently professor at Biennial of Cerveira Foundation.
Is been producing since 1996 and his work finds inspiration in the cinema.
Highlight to his participation in the exhibition Panorama da Arte Brasileira (2005) and at the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art.
