Claire was a regular model of mine for around a year. She was excellent to work with, and always brought a wonderful calm to the studio.

This painting dates from a time when I was using a fairly restricted palette, with compositions often dominated by blues and greens. It is painted on linen on a deep stretcher. The black frame is made of wood, though the canvas can be hung unframed.
