Artur Efigénio is a natural plastic artist from São Teotónio, in the heart of the Natural Park of the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina, which develops its activity in order to establish a strong connection to the land, to nature and to everything it makes us feel and imagine.
The themes he covers range from the origin of everything to the concrete, visible and palpable, using oil, acrylic, and recycled materials available in his works to arouse emotions and feelings.
Having started this activity in the year 2001, he has participated in individual and collective exhibitions, with some of his works from private collections, both national and foreign.
