Pedro Rocha was born in Porto in 1945.
He graduated in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, where he lectured and held management positions from 1976 to 2009. He won two scholarships from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation for art practice, from 1969 to 1972 and in 1981.
Pedro Rocha exhibits individually and collectively since 1969, in Portugal and abroad.
Pedro Rocha’s works is part of numerous state and private collections, among which the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, the National Museum of Modern Art, the National Museum Soares dos Reis, the Cupertino Miranda Foundation and the Oriente Foundation.
