The development of this work is part of the Symposium on Art & Sustainability, organized by zet gallery for the dst group and in partnership with the IB-S (University of Minho) and with the support of CUP & SAUCER and the ERT group. The challenge for artists was to work with waste from industrial contexts, which naturally includes the remainder of demolition and building construction. Hernâni Reis Baptista worked from waste from the ERT group (automotive textiles) on which he printed images that associated with the classic ideas, Greek and Roman, exploring the concept of body and beauty and confronting it with the matter of human waste. The play was sponsored by the ERT group, becoming part of its estate.
