This artwork was inspired by my walks in Sintra, it belongs to the Sintra Walks Series, using the three-dimensional technique based on assemblage to give the effect of shadows on the paper depending on the projection of natural light during the day or artificial. I use vibrant colours with three-dimensional geometric shapes made from recycled materials, paper, wire, styrofoam, assembled logs and Indian ink, acrylic with glue, and gouache on paper. The theme of this series is nature with forest and monuments, inspired by a photographic survey that I am doing, using the natural beauty of our country.
