"Figures d'invitation" is a artist's proposal in a volume of photographs of characters I pick up on the street. They function as impressions of the spaces where figures could have circulated. "Figures d'invitation" proposes to reconstitute their energies, their stories and their presence through a recomposition of their silhouettes in cement.

Influenced by the architectural forms of the invitation figures present in Portugal at entrances, gardens or paths. " Figures of invitation" proposes to reproduce the presence of individuals in a territory, and make their presence visible, exploring a potential encounter, accompanying them with an invitation text.

"Figures of invitation" is an invitation to search, to take possession of a territory, a space, a place. To accompany a path, an itinerary, to push open doors, to pass the head, to dare to meet the other with oneself.
