The first work illustrates the Sukhasana posture with hands in Anjali Mudra, which is a basic Yoga posture, easy and comfortable. To learn Sukhasana is to learn to sit in oneself. One of the greatest gifts of existence is to be well in your own company. The Anjali Mudra means "prayer" or "gratitude" and is the gesture associated with the expression namastê which calms, centres and evokes humility.
