XAILE (Shawl) is an artwork that combines dimensions and specifics of sculpture and painting. My recent creative process passes through constructions in wood from old furniture, broken utensils, pallets, and other consequential human waste daily objects.

The base of XAILE (Shawl) is the headboard of an old bed, common to the imagination of so many homes and families, that I retreat to the original function (ready-made style) and on which I work, retrieving the imagery of popular and traditional culture, especially Minho culture (who is also my daily universe), and giving him the illusory sense of being faced with a prop clothing in detail and manually produced.
