This is a figurative kind of a portrait, from a daily banal experience I photographed. As a theme, it represents my tendency to the small unimportant details of life. The realistic / impressionist approach is a form of trying to catch the moment, even though the moment had passed long ago. I was inspired by both these painting movements at the end of the 19th century. I still find them relevant nowadays, in the era of fast consuming images, and fast ways of creating images.
