Red sun landscape is part of a landscape series made with water-soluble graphite from Viarco (a well known Portuguese brand) and oil pastel on canvas. I believe that as light touches the earth it also touches my art. At least it is what I feel when painting. The urge to bring warmness and life is palpable when creating what I see and feel. Nature can be expressed in a nostalgic way of seeing the world and its interpretation through vibrant or livid colours.
