My work is about memories and dialogues with various fabrics, laces, colours, lines and textures that circulated in my mother's sewing table. The fabric is an element that gives form to memories that are part of my private universe. The influence of the elements of Minho costumes, flowers, colours, embroidered dresses that Undulated like waves, the hemlines of women from the village who boldly carried bottles of water and chanted echoes and singing, are elements that I bring to my work.

In search of what is more authentic, I used brushstrokes that suggest movement, spontaneity and tension linking different genres, the smiles that embrace the soul appear ...
