Spring – Yellow

Working with a series of drawings and prints inspired by Springs first blooms the painting is offered to the viewer as an evocative and suggestive surface. By constructing and deconstructing the pictorial plane I eliminate fragments emphasizing the tactile surface and transformative color palette.
My work seeks the quality of the surface that gives life to the painting. I examine different surface materials approaching them through the methodology of engravings, wood cut and serigraphs printmaking techniques. For me, collage is about the combination of materials. Expressing through color and texture the harmony between painting and printmaking, nature and transcendence.
