Nogueira de Barros took an Initial Painting course at SNBA (1999-2001). Later, she took a course in Painting at Ar.co, Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual (2019 - 2020), while also taking a course in Modern Art History at Ar.co (2019-2020).
Participated in several solo exhibitions, such as "Colorful Coimbra has more charm", by the Coimbra Museum, Almedina Gallery (2020), "Moments of Color", in the Art Gallery of the Orlando Ribeiro Library, Lisbon (2020); as well, Collective Exhibitions: "Art for New York"at Agora Gallery , in New York (2001), "10th International Salon D'arts Barcelona" in Barcelona, Spain (2002), among others.
The central theme of his work is color, texture and roughness, strongly influenced by the beauty of nature. It looks for forms in the relationship between natural and man-made elements. The works are built with layers of paint, glue, resins, in three-dimensional abstract forms.
