Afonso's works are a performance of a collapse of his emotions and his dreams, his feelings, and his behaviors. Painting and taking photos are like therapy for him. "Life is full of stresses and I need this art, my art to understand my emotions, to relieve me of this life, to continue to live ignorant like people think I am".
