His artistic creation is the result of a lifetime spent exploring the idea that knowledge is always relative, uncertain and somewhat diffuse. An object, an event or an emotion can be observed and experienced from countless different perspectives, in different contexts and under different assumptions. Although the essence of knowledge cannot be reached, he believes that the more I explore this idea, the closer he gets to the essence of some knowledge, in an almost religious experience.
The artist has been exploring this idea through painting, developing some aesthetic approaches. Adding levels of abstraction brings him closer to the essence of some concept or event or emotion that underlies the moment of creation. A certain physicality that he puts into painting is also part of his artistic identity.
Painting has been his main focus in recent years, largely inspired by the abstract expressionism movement. he has also been working in other art forms, particularly photography.
