The history of Alfredo Cunha (PT, 1953) has a beginning that could be said in a poem, a beginning that was that of a revolution, of our Revolution. He therefore deserves the title of “Photographer of the Revolution”. Alfredo Cunha’s photography is not neutral, and what he photographs and whom he photographs are deliberate choices: in favour of freedom in all its senses.
