Summer Days: a kind of anthology by Ana Vidigala Vidigal
Collection curated by Helena Mendes Pereira
Along with the significant impact of her career, we are interested in the causes and choices that make her one of the most relevant artists of her generation. Ana Vidigal’s work covers a multitude of technologies and materials, including painting, textiles, collage, assemblage and sculpture. Within her generation, she has been a pioneer in the use of textiles, by interpreting the places she passes by, the inscriptions in the memory and hands -mostly of women- and which are an expression of the daily life of the hippocampus.
