Giancarlo Pavanello (IT, 1944) is presenting the exhibition “VISIVE VERB: a triad by Giancarlo Pavanello” at the zet gallery, the Lúcio Craveiro da Silva Library and the Pio XII Museum, which brings together around 300 works by the Italian artist produced from 1960 to the present day, in what is his largest and most representative exhibition.
His work constantly refers to Outsider Art, Visual Poetry and Arte Povera, favouring paper, writing and calligraphy.
The works on display allow for an anthological reading of the artist's work with the production of artists' books and folders, using collage and photography.
