These two pieces are part of a major series called "Debris of gentrification". The axis guiding the research revolves around critically observing, as Robert Smithson would do, the process of real state speculation taking place in historic downtown Lisbon. The material of the sculptures were all collected from construction buckets in the area, and it follows Michael Heizer's philosophy of utilizing non profitable material that is considered leftover by capitalism. The forms were reached through assembling the found pieces in the search of an abstraction that would translate post-modern architecture, a capitalistic phenomenon that historically has privatized public space all over the world, sending local communities away. Diptych, not necessarily to be sold together: 1000 € each
