This painting describes one specific moment, during a show by The Pixies, one of my favorite bands, in Tel-Aviv in 2014. I tried to describe the lively sensation I had being there, by the freely manner of describing the figures and the space. The most important element in this painting is the bright light coming from the stage, as a metaphor to the happiness and truth the music may give. The music is, for me, a source of life and inspiration. I was influenced by the expressionist painters while applying the general and bold brush strokes.
