Faces and Masks are themes to which I inescapably return from time to time, sometimes in the form of hallucinated portraits. In reality, it is neither the faces nor the masks that fascinate me, but the mental states they reveal or try to avoid revealing. Works with surrealist tendencies but mostly situated in the realm of figurative expressionism.
