"Pedra Viva" is a project inspired by a series of micro-practices related to flowers and plants, something that the artist has developed since 2016. These micro-practices consist of observing, collecting and identifying small plants, which are then used in their ceramic work. They often serve as an inspiration to achieve more organic forms, other times they are part of the work. The "Pedra Viva" wants to be an island inhabited by various beings, populated by micro-cosmos, where natural plants are confused with organic forms of ceramics, creating a lush setting of shapes and colours. To allow the habitability of the piece, small pots will be created to give shelter to some plants, such as mosses and navels of Venus because they are plants that do not need maintenance and grow easily in small soil. Other beings invited to inhabit the piece will be the insects, which will have a small "houses", simple holes, where they can perform their metamorphoses
