Mariana Mizarela has been developing her artistic project in Barcelona for several years, pursuing an aesthetics of pop trend which recovers a universe of memories from the collection of photos and postcards where paintwork acts disruptively, recreating sets and recuperating contexts to the present. MEMORY SOUVENIR drinks from that spirit and is a project created to cross-read the body with a bookcase-repository, as if that contemplation was the purchase of a souvenir.
