João Carqueijeiro completed the Drawing Superior Course at Cooperativa Árvore (ESAD) in 1982, under the guidance of master Sá Nogueira and specialized in pottery wheel, sandstone glazes and Raku, at Ceramic School de La Bisbal, in Catalunya. Since 1981, he has been dedicated to teaching ceramics, both in the field of Professional Training and Specialization Courses, Internship Orientation, Workshops, Free Courses, accredited by the Scientific CouncilPedagogical Training of Teachers and the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training. Since 1986, he has exhibited in Portugal and beyond, maintaining a regular activity to stimulate activities and events related to ceramics. We found their panels in Portugal and Spain, being able to highlight the ceramic panel in relief of 0,75 x 100 x0,05 meters, outside the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Vilamoura. Award-winning artist, his work integrates collections of museums in Portugal, China or Japan.
