Inspired by her passion, she moved to Portugal and decided to devote herself to sculpture.
In 2018 she started the series “primos e primas”, in which she metaphorizes the conceptual relations between the conception of production and the construction of the subject.
It carries this name, due to the kinship that is simulated in the act of creation: it is so much part of the artist, that when it forms, it descends, collaterally from her.
Furthermore, primo/a (cousin- there's no gender for this word in the English language), in Latin, means primeiro/a (first).
That is, the first works in a new land, which lives up to its moment.
In a new place, a new look is built on the life that is shaped in this cycle, whose expressiveness is found in the contours of anguish and imperfection.
