Ricardo Pistola was born in 1980, lives and works in Porto. Has a Degree in Plastic Arts - Painting, Master’s in Art Education and Doctorate in Art Education by the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto.
Since 2001, he regularly presents work in individual and collective exhibitions in galleries and institutional spaces, being represented in several public and private collections.
His work is mainly developed in the area of painting and drawing, also finding a strong expression in three-dimensional pieces and installations. Of the artistic residency programs in which she participated, the most recent one - Vernadsky Station - stands out at the Centro de Artes de Sines.
At the same time, he works in partnership with Viarco in the development of drawing materials, where he develops workshops in the drawing area.
