This artwork was created using oil on canvas (linen). A layer of varnish protects the painting against UV light and dust. The artwork is signed on the right side and back.

In this painting, I devised an articulate infinity symbol consisting of two linked cycles.
A larger cycle, colorful, solar, positive and a smaller cycle, lunar and negative.
Eternally interdependent cycles as a symbol for the dynamics of human existence itself.
Perception of physical space, depth, gravity and motion are deliberate in this work.
Gradations obtained by streaks if multiple tones add texture, temperature and plasticity.
The composition’s formal structure and balance stand in opposition to the spontaneous uninterrupted rhythm I wihs to convey.
A visual metaphor for life’s duality. A duality underlined by the double face that pervades the hole symbol.
The permanent transformation of energy is perceivable not only through the chromatic sequence but also by the design’s cyclical motion.
