In this Alice series, the artist explores the paradoxical relationship between complexity and minimalism by developing several works simultaneously. By working in layers, each having its own material/expression coherence, but applied in a different order, he tests the way in which they confront or combine and the profoundness that their superposition allows the work to acquire. In the complex works like " Alice" a) and b), this depth seems more evident, in "Before Alice" 1 et 2, it appears through a more classical gradation of the values, whereas the 3 minimalist pieces of "Alices22", rather play on the strength of presence. It is the unity of time, around a week spent in Alice's house in the Swiss mountains, which ensures the formal unity of the series.
