VitaliV was born in Odessa and attended the Academy of Arts, receiving an M.F.A. in art in 1989. His body of work ranges from figurative art with the UNDERGROUND ART (1983–89) to performances with MANSARDA APTEKA PELE (1985-89). Since 1994, VitaliV’s objects and projects have been exhibited at museums both nationally and internationally, including the Russian State Museum, the Museum of Ethnography, Islington Design Center (London), VideoAkt Biennial (Barcelona), 4th Moscow Art Biennial. Vitaliv has published and guest-edited a number of publications like Art Flash, Hermitage, Nomi. Vitaliv developed a digital style, which he calls VIA ART. He developed designs of porcelain, tableware, fashion style, jewellery and participate in different shows and exhibitions like Jewellery show at Sands, Las Vegas, Fashion week London, Zone Fashion, Paris, Fashion week Trade, Milan.
