glueglue starts from a passion for the universe of illustration with collages - a world full of visual possibilities and metaphors. I chose to call it “glueglue” because it transports me to the child's universe of collages.
This art form has a “raw” and spontaneous registration that allows unlimited possibilities of experimentation about image deconstruction and (re)construction. The fragments are “cutting out” and decontextualized and, when inserted into another context, transfigure themselves. In this game lies the beauty of collage. The fragments from different contexts join other fragments in the game of experiments, drawing figures that, taken together, create history. Pop Art and Vintage graphics are great influences.

Although I create handmade collages, the compositions are mostly done with digital support.
