“Between walls” conveys the narrative, not of ancestral motifs but of the appropriation of traditional standard façade tiles that are in close articulation with the female body presented inside the dwelling. Taking with pertinence its georeferencing as a form of identity of the work itself, the architectural presence of this outer skin allows to enter and look at the spatiality of an imaginary or real place. Thus, this mesh creates a translucent space making us voyeurs and allowing us to observe what is beyond. The seemingly empty architectural environment between ajar parallel walls reveals protective nooks of the feminine intimate daily life; an almost loneliness, an inner dialogue. Thus, “Between walls” is represented between the figure and the pattern, with autonomy of both, in a common territory.
